Ben Wiley received his B.A. in Classics, with a concentration in Greek and Latin Languages, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. From the UMass Classics Department he received the Alexandra Rebelo DeSerpa Prize for Excellence in Beginning Latin, the David Grose Travel Fellowship, and the William M. Bulger Award. He participated in the excavation of Poggio Civitate in Murlo, Italy during the summer 2019 season. Ben’s research interests include the reception of Classical literature in the Anglophone poetry of the 20th and 21st centuries, narratological studies of historiography, and philology.
