Rebekah Fisher received her Bachelor's degree in Classical Languages and Literatures from the University of Michigan, with a minor in Classical Civilizations. As an undergraduate, she received University Honors in four semesters and earned the distinction of a James B. Angell Scholar. Rebekah wrote a senior thesis entitled "Perceptions of Clodia Metelli: A Study of Wealth and Women in Rome." She worked with Professor Richard Janko to create the Index Locorum for his forthcoming publication on Philodemus's "On Poems II." Rebekah plans to continue her studies in Classical philology and is especially interested in linguistics and in the lives of women and children in the ancient world. After the completion of her Master's degree, she would like to continue her studies towards a PhD in Classics.
