Saturday, September 20, 2025, graduate students from the Early Christian Studies (ECS) and Classics programs attended the Medieval Institute’s annual football tailgate. At this tailgate, there were performances of swordsmanship and other medieval weapons as well as an abundance of free food and drinks. Enjoying a moment of conviviality together outside of the classroom was a welcome surprise, and they look forward to attending other tailgates in the near future.
