Anne Rolfe

Anne Rolfe graduated summa cum laude from Hillsdale College in 2022 with a double major in Latin and Greek. Anne’s special interests include allusion and intertextuality in Latin poetry (particularly in the works of Virgil and Lucretius); Homeric epics, and classical reception studies. She is especially fascinated by classical reception during World War I; her senior thesis for Hillsdale’s Collegiate Scholars Program explored Wilfred Owen’s reception of classics in his war-time poetry. After completing her M.A. in Classics, Anne hopes to teach Latin and Greek, as she is passionate about sharing her love of classics with others.
