Biography
Nadia Makuc is from Monterey, Massachusetts in the Berkshires. She graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 2026 with a B.A. in Classics and minors in Medieval Studies and Hellenic Studies. Her coursework focused on Greek and Latin languages and literature, and her independent research centered on virtues in the Ancient World. Her undergraduate thesis was a study of hope (spes) in Augustine's Commentary on the Psalms. When she is not losing sleep over Jerome's translations, she can be found outdoors (preferably with horses, cows, or pigs).

Virtues in the Ancient world, Biblical transmission, material culture, Latin paleography
