Paige Walworth

Biography

Paige Walworth graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 2026 with an A.B. in Classics and minors in Archaeology and Values and Public Life. Her research focuses on the material culture of the ancient Mediterranean, drawing on archaeological, art historical, and legal approaches. For her undergraduate independent work, Paige’s senior thesis examined how legal and ethical frameworks shaped the development of the Princeton University Art Museum’s Ancient Mediterranean collection, while her junior independent work, and subsequent AIA conference presentation, examined the emergence of the false-bottom lekythos shape.

Paige’s research is further informed through her experience working with archaeological excavations and museums. She has previously excavated with the Molyvoti, Thrace Archaeological Project and the Santa Susana Archaeological Project, and has interned with the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Outside of her academic interests, Paige enjoys baking, hiking, running, and ceramics.
