Jesper Majbom Madsen is an Associate Professor in Greek and Roman History at the University of Southern Denmark, and co-editor of Brill's Historiography of Rome and its Empire Series. His research interests include the historiography of the Roman Empire, Greece under Roman rule, and Greek and Roman writers' views on Roman power. He has authored and co-edited several books; his most recent monograph is Cassius Dio (2019) for the "Ancients in Action" series at Bloomsbury Academic Press.
