Faculty, students, and friends of Department of Classics and the Program in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies enjoyed an opening reception at the home of Brian and Joan Krostenko to inaugurate the 2017-2018 school year. After summer break, the event offered the chance to renew friendships and share summer experiences, increasing anticipation for the semester ahead.
The reception also welcomed new faculty members Nermine el-Horr, Amy Pistone, and Aldo Tagliabue and new students in the MA and ECS programs.
