Sami Burr '16, a double major in classics and theology, is interested in the intricacies Greek and Latin theologians found to describe the mysteries of theology.
"I absolutely love diving into Latin and Greek through the Department of Classics at ND. Getting to read literature I love in its original language is amazing, but I also know that Latin and Greek have made me a precise thinker and a keen observer of all language. I am also a double major with theology, and my favorite point of overlap is the way Greek and Latin theologians found new words to describe the mysteries of theology. I'm hoping to share my abundant nerdiness with others after graduation by teaching high school Latin, theology, or both!"
Sami is currently pursuing an M.A. in Theology through the Echo program at Notre Dame.
