Juliana (Vossenberg) Kazemi graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton in 2017 with a double major in Philosophy and Theology and a minor in Biochemistry. Her honors project in philosophy explored the moral psychology of sexual desire in the contemporary university setting. Prior to entering the M.A. in Early Christian Studies, Juliana completed the Master of Theological Studies at Notre Dame, concentrating in the history of Christianity, and holding teaching assistantships for 3 semesters. She hopes to continue her work in ‘transvestite’ hagiography from the M.T.S. in the E.C.S. program. Recently, she has enjoyed volunteering to teach Latin through the Paideia Institute’s Aequora Program. Currently, she is excited to be the 2019-2020 Academic Affairs Chair for the Graduate Student Union.
